In the T20 World Cup, there have been several batsmen who have hit sixes with ease in a single innings. However, the most memorable one is when Chris Gayle hammered 11 sixes in a single innings against England in the 2016 T20 World Cup. In that match, Gayle scored 100 runs and was unstoppable.

Chris Gayle once again got his name in the record books, smashing 16 sixes against Zimbabwe in Canberra in 2015. Gayle scored 215 runs in that innings alone.
Also in the 2015 ICC World Cup, Martin Guptill of New Zealand hit 11 sixes during his unbeaten knock of 237 against the West Indies.
