The Paris team took the lead within five minutes into the game on Wednesday night. Ousmane Dembele passed to Kang-in Lee, giving PSG an early advantage. Despite letting in the first goal, Les Violets tried their best to fight back.
In the first half, Toulouse had five shots but couldn’t score. PSG capitalised after Kylian Mbappe scored a second goal at the 44th minute, giving them a comfortable lead before halftime.
Although no goals were scored in the second half, both teams had chances. Toulouse attempted 12 shots to make a comeback but failed to score. PSG had only two shots but maintained their lead, securing the Trophee des Champions.
