Real Madrid comeback to win 3-2 against Almeria in La Liga

Real Madrid made a comeback to win 3-2 against the bottom-ranked Almeria in their La Liga match that was marred by controversy following allegedly questionable VAR decisions. Despite Almeria leading 2-0 at halftime with goals by Largie Ramazani and Edgar Gonzalez, Real Madrid turned the game around.

Jude Bellingham’s penalty brought Real Madrid back in the match after Almeria called for fouls against Antonio Rudiger and Joselu. The home side also had a handball given against them. Almeria had a goal disallowed by VAR after a foul in the buildup. Vinicius then scored to make it 2-2. The decision was upheld by VAR despite calls for the ball hitting his upper arm. The referee added 11 minutes of injury time, before Dani Carvajal scored Madrid’s winner in the 99th minute.

Meanwhile, Girona maintained their lead in the table with a shocking 5-1 win over Sevilla, with Artem Dovbyk bagging a hat-trick.

In another match, Ferran Torres also scored a hat-trick for FC Barcelona in a 4-2 win against Real Betis. This was after two goals were scored byBetis midfielder Isco. Substitute Joao Felix secured the win for Barca after a late exchange with Ferran.

Also, Osasuna secured a 3-2 win against Getafe, with Raul Garcia, Iker Munoz, and Jesus Areso scoring for Osasuna, while Borja Mayoral and Nemanja Maksimovic brought Getafe level before Arseo’s late winner.
