KKR bolwed well to keep RCB’s score in check despite Kohli’s onslaught. Russell took 2-29 while Rana finished with figures of 2-39 to help their team secure the win. Narine also chipped in with a wicket, although conceding 40 runs in his four overs. Meanwhile, Cameron Green and Dinesh Karthik did well to help RCB reach a fairly decent total.

Chasing 183, KKR started off strongly, with Narine and Phil Salt scoring quickly. Narine’s innings was particularly aggressive, as he hammered five sixes and two boundaries. After the two got out, Venkatesh Iyer and Shreyas Iyer steadied the innings with a 74-run partnership. Venkatesh scored 50 runs off only 30 balls, while Shreyas hit 39 runs off 24 balls. Despite a few hiccups, KKR comfortably chased down the target with 19 balls to spare.

This was a significant result for KKR, who won their sixth consecutive match at RCB’s home ground. As a result, they have moved to the second spot on the IPL 2024 points table.
