IPL 2024: KKR beat SRH by 4 runs in thriller

Kolkata Knight Riders set a challenging target of 208/7, with Russell smashing a quickfire 64 off 25 balls. The team also received crucial support from Phil Salt, who contributed 54. In response, Sunrisers Hyderabad made a strong start, with Mayank Agarwal and Abhishek Sharma adding 60 runs for the first wicket. However, Kolkata’s bowlers fought back, with Harshit Rana taking 3-33 in four overs.

Sunrisers needed 13 runs off the last over, with Klaasen at the crease. He hit a six off the first ball but was then dismissed by Rana, who bowled a superb final over to secure the win for Kolkata. Despite Shahbaz Ahmed’s efforts, Sunrisers fell just short, finishing on 204/7.
