Despite a shaky start with Rohit Sharma getting out for a duck in the first over, Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal steadied the ship. Jaiswal showcased brilliant form, hitting boundaries against both spinners and pacers. After Kohli’s dismissal, Shivam Dube joined Jaiswal, continuing the onslaught.
Dube’s powerful shots, including three consecutive sixes off Mohammad Nabi, propelled India towards victory. Jaiswal’s fiery half-century was cut short by Karim Janat, who also dismissed Jitesh Sharma in the same over. Rinku Singh came in to bat, but Dube’s exceptional form led India to a comfortable six-wicket win.

Arshdeep took three wickets, while Axar claimed two.
Afghanistan’s openers Ibrahim Zadran and Rahmanullah Gurbaz set a solid start, but Ravi Bishnoi’s breakthrough and Axar Patel’s crucial wickets kept India in control.
