Shreyanka recently played her first T20I matches against England and did well, taking five wickets, including three crucial ones in the third game. Saika, a left-arm spinner, also did great, taking five wickets in the same series, especially shining in the last game with three wickets for 22 runs.

Mannat and Titas were part of India’s U19 Women’s T20 World Cup-winning team. While Mannat hasn’t played for India yet, Titas has played four games, taking four wickets. Both were part of the gold-medal-winning team at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

Pacer Renuka Singh Thakur, who returned after an injury, and wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh, who debuted in Tests against Australia, have also been picked.

The new players’ selection means experienced players like Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Devika Vaidya, Uma Chetry, Priya Punia, Meghna Singh, Monica Patel, Anusha Bareddy, and Rashi Kanojiya missed out on the ODI squad.

These ODIs are crucial for India’s preparation for the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup, which they will host. Meanwhile, the T20I squad remains unchanged from the matches against England.
