As per the current schedule, the India-Pakistan match, which is considered the most high-profile game of the ODI World Cup, is set to take place on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. However, this date clashes with the first day of the Navaratri festival, also on October 15, and the local police have expressed concerns about managing security on that day.
A source familiar with the matter revealed that a discussion about the potential change in the date of the India-Pakistan World Cup match is likely to take place during the meeting in New Delhi.

The announcement of the 2023 Men’s ODI World Cup schedule took place nearly a month ago, on June 27, in Mumbai. If the India-Pakistan match is rescheduled, it could impact the overall World Cup schedule, particularly as October 14 is currently a double-header day in the tournament.
On October 14, defending champions England are scheduled to play Afghanistan in a day match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, while New Zealand will face Bangladesh in a day-night game at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
