Rasmus Hojlund’s first-ever goal in the English Premier League helped Manchester United secure a thrilling comeback, winning 3-2 against Aston Villa in a lively game at Old Trafford. This was Manchester United’s first win in four league games, pushing them up to sixth place in the league standings.

In the first half, Aston Villa took a 2-0 lead with goals from John McGinn and Leander Dendoncker, both from set-pieces. One came through a direct free-kick and the other from a corner.
However, after halftime, Manchester United surged back with Alejandro Garnacho scoring what appeared to be a goal, but VAR ruled it as offside. Despite this setback, Garnacho managed to net two goals in just over 10 minutes, leveling the score for Man United.

Finally, in the 82nd minute, Rasmus Hojlund struck his debut Premier League goal, securing Manchester United’s much-needed victory, propelling them to sixth place in the league standings.
Meanwhile, Liverpool climbed to the top of the English Premier League after a 2-0 win over Burnley, courtesy of goals from Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota. Nunez ended his 12-match goal drought by scoring in the sixth minute, while Jota, returning from injury, found the net in the 90th minute.

Elsewhere, AFC Bournemouth clinched a 3-0 victory against Fulham at Vitality Stadium, marking their sixth win in seven matches and elevating them into the top half of the league table.
