This was the first time Arsenal lost a Premier League match after scoring the opening goal since January 1, 2022, against Manchester City. Fulham’s win marked the first time they’ve won a Premier League game after falling behind since October 2022 against Leeds. They break a 26-game streak without a win after trailing in league matches.
Arsenal, who had a strong start to the season with only two losses in their first 18 Premier League games, have now faced consecutive defeats. This is only the second time they’ve suffered back-to-back league losses since last season.

Following this defeat, Arsenal and Manchester City both have 40 points from 20 matches in the English Premier League. However, City hold a superior goal difference with a game in hand. Fulham are 13th in the league with 24 points from 20 matches.
