Barça reach Spanish Supercup final after 2-0 win over Osasuna

FC Barcelona booked a spot in the Spanish Supercup final after defeating Osasuna 2-0 in the second semifinal. Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal both scored in the second half, ensuring Barcelona’s win. With this result, they set up a final clash against Real Madrid on Sunday.

Despite not being at their best, Barcelona managed to create more scoring opportunities than their opponents. The first half began with intense action, including near misses from both teams. Barcelona gradually gained control of possession but struggled to break down Osasuna’s well-organized defense.

Lewandowski had a header go wide, and Yamal, who replaced the injured Raphinha, set up another chance for Lewandowski just before halftime, but Osasuna’s keeper Sergio Herrera made a crucial block.

In the second half, Barcelona took the lead with a goal from Lewandowski, assisted by Ilkay Gundogan. Although Osasuna’s Raul Garcia came close to equalizing with a spectacular volley, Barcelona’s Joao Felix showcased his skill, setting up Yamal for the second goal, securing the win.

This result sets the stage for the Spanish Supercup final against Real Madrid, following Real Madrid’s 5-3 victory over Atletico Madrid in the first semifinal.
